HOW IT WORKS
Custom-designed fork protection sleeves, crafted from UV-resistant automotive vinyl, are easily fitted and secured around the forks with hook-and-loop fasteners. When not in use, they fasten neatly together for compact storage.
Fork Protecta consists of two separate panels: one for the left side and one for the right.
Begin with the left panel. Position it upright so that the felt lining faces inward, directly against the fork.
Wrap the left panel snugly around the fork and fasten it using the hook-and-loop fastener.
Align the horizontal flap so it sits flush with the bike’s cross member, then secure it with the hook-and-loop fastener
Repeat the same process on the right side, wrap the panel around the fork and cross member, and secure it firmly.
With both panels in place, connect the central flaps of the left and right Fork Protecta panels to complete the installation.
Our Story
Fork Protecta began with an off-chance conversation in a workshop. A frustrated bike mechanic, now a close friend, asked if I could design something better than the slipping rags he was constantly adjusting while tying down bikes. That simple question became the spark for Fork Protecta.
With over 40 years in upholstery and motor trimming including 20+ years specialising in custom motorcycle seats, I knew there had to be a smarter, more reliable solution. What followed was a three-year development journey to find the right material: strong, durable, UV rated, and built for real workshop conditions.
Designed to be quick, efficient, and protective, Fork Protecta stays in place, prevents damage, and brings a clean, professional look to the workshop and the bike. What started as a simple request has grown into a mission – to create a practical, well-designed product that makes life easier for mechanics, riders, and anyone who works, transports, or stores bikes.
